You move house? On average once every 7 years (perhaps a bit more if renting rather than home-owning).
We toyed with the idea of a shop front after 10+ years 'online' as it seemed like the next step, but we didn't want to be another agency with rows of desks that you just don't feel like going into unless you really have to.
If you have a property question and Google just won't cut it - too confusing, too much jargon, not hyper-local enough...
Then will you 'just pop into' one of those intimidating spaces where you'll likely be sold at, and your details taken so you can be sold at some more, or will you ask someone casually whilst getting your coffee? The introverts amongst us know that we'd get the coffee, and if it still felt uncomfortable, well at least we've got the coffee and no one is any the wiser. But we also have leaflets - so maybe you needn't speak with anyone anyway...
Except we know that you won't feel uncomfortable. Everyone at LMA has been employed through contacts, networking, and getting to know each other organically - we've never actually had to use a job ad board. We're very fortunate, and this means that everyone has the LMA ethos - honest, open, not pushy.
We wanted to create a community space and Putney seemed the natural place in the heart of South West London, where we've been covering lettings, sales and property management for 11 years.
And so here we are. Opened in June 2026, we've already made a mark, have coffee regulars, a book club, business networking events, and more is to follow...

And if you're in twice a week, where will you eventually go when you do need to rent or sell your house? And those renters and buyers ... they're more likely to see yours in the shop they frequent, than the one they're walking passed
